Fueled and ready to walk our first stop will be to The Witch House, one of the only buildings still standing that had any connection to the Salem Witch Trials. The Witch House gives you a look inside the everyday lives of the people that were living during the trials. From the serious to the slightly silly we will head to The Salem Witch Museum, kitschy, a little silly, and a definite must stop for any Salem trip. Heading through town we will take a shopping break at Coven’s Cottage (my personal favorite store in Salem) before heading to the Salem Witch Trial Memorial. Lunch will be welcomed after all the walking and we will be dining at The Dire Wolf Tavern which serves all the comfort food we will be craving. A little shopping always helps food digest better so we will explore the Instagram famous Haus Witch and Ascend. We’ll slip back into the history of Salem with the 1692 Salem Witchcraft Walking Tour and head back to the house to shower and change for dinner at Mercy Tavern and go to BitBar after to play all the video games from when we were kids.

From here we will turn our day a little wilder at The Spirit Board Museum which has a truly remarkable collection of Ouija boards. To keep it creepy we will head to Count Orlok’s Nightmare Museum to see life sized sculptures of horror villains and movie props. Life Alive (yup I really set us all up for that pun) is our lunch stop for the day which is super cozy and has to quote them, “Invigorating food that tastes as good as it makes you feel—energized, uplifted and fully alive.” The obligatory after lunch shopping will include but won’t be limited to Modern Millie- retro clothes in ALL sizes, Emporium 32- retro curio shop, and Die with Your Boots On gothic and alternative clothes and accessories. Ever wanted to go to a speakeasy that distills their own spirits? Want to see the funniest bathroom sign ever? We will get both at Deacon Giles Distillery. Dinner will be a must at this point and we will be dining at Koto Asian Fusion which has an amazing menu of sushi, tempura, and killer vegan dishes. For our post dinner stroll The History and Hauntings guided tour will make our night extra creepy.

A cup of tea at the STUNNING Jolie Tea cannot be missed and will fuel the Sunday shopping at Black Cat Curiosity Shop which must be experienced and cannot be explained, Nocturne the very best of the witchy shops in Salem, and Artemisia Botanicals there isn’t an herb they don’t have.
